Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on gender-sensitive indicators within the performance measurement framework and support colleagues in monitoring and reporting program results, outputs, and objectives against agreed indicators.
  • Provide technical assistance to partners in assessing their approach to gender mainstreaming throughout the program cycle.
  • Monitor and report on the implementation of the gender action plan.
  • Develop a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system to capture the project’s impact across various interventions.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the project’s M&E system, ensuring efficient information flow, synergy and partnerships.
  • Generate proposal and concept notes for monitoring, evaluation and research activities.
  • Create and implement quantitative and qualitative data collection tools for timely reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Development Studies or any other related field.
  • Must have 2 years and above working experience working on gender issues.
  • Must have experience with using data collection and analysis software.
  • Strong quantitative, qualitative and analytical research skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
