Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen our market position within the fuel transportation industry.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including fleet management, route optimization, and adherence to strict safety and environmental regulations.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to achieve financial targets and optimize operational costs.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, contracts, and partnerships to expand the company’s client base and revenue streams in the fuel transportation sector.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their fuel transportation needs are met with the highest levels of service and reliability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all industry regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards, and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Innovation & Technology: Leverage technology and industry innovations to optimize operations, improve service delivery, and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the logistics or transportation industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the fuel transportation sector.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics operations, focusing on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the fuel transportation industry, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Proficiency in logistics and fleet management software, with a focus on optimizing fuel transportation operations.
