Summary

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead their team, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence in the competitive liquor distribution industry.

Requirements

Job Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the liquor distribution industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
  • Strong understanding of liquor distribution regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with industry trends, products, and market dynamics.

Job Must Have

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, increase market share, and maximize profitability.
  • Provide innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, order processing, and distribution logistics.
  • Streamline processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead sales and marketing efforts to expand our customer base, maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and promote new products effectively.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Manage a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive work environment, provide mentorship, and ensure staff members are motivated and aligned with company goals.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make strategic financial decisions to optimize resources and achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure the company operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
