Solvit is an On-Demand Asset and Situation Inspection Platform that sends its closest available roaming Solvers to assess assets and situations.

Growth Captain – Motor Valuations & Assessments

  • Solvit is seeking a high-impact Growth Captain to spearhead revenue growth and market expansion as part of our 2026 growth strategy. This is a senior commercial leadership role with direct accountability for business growth outcomes.
  • The successful candidate will own the growth agenda end-to-end from strategy formulation and channel prioritization to execution leadership and performance delivery. This role is designed for a commercially astute leader who thrives in high-accountability, target-driven environments and is motivated by building scalable growth engines in the insurance and financial services ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Solvit’s growth strategy across brokers, agents, underwriting teams, fleets and strategic partners.
  • Own revenue pipelines, channel performance and growth forecasting.
  • Drive empanelment and expansion of key distribution channels.
  • Build, lead and performance-manage Business Development Operators.
  • Establish disciplined growth execution frameworks, performance dashboards and accountability systems.
  • Leverage CRM systems, digital campaigns, data analytics and automation to drive scalable growth.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Quality and Client Experience teams to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.

Candidate Profile

  • We are seeking a results-driven growth leader with the following attributes:
  • Proven track record in driving business growth within insurance, financial services, professional services or B2B service environments.
  • Thinks strategically and can prioritize ruthlessly
  • Is comfortable owning numbers and outcomes end-to-end
  • Can design and drive execution through others
  • Is disciplined, values-driven, and highly accountable
  • Experienced in building and leading high-performance BD or commercial teams
  • Highly analytical, commercially astute and digitally competent (CRM, pipeline management, campaigns)
  • Mature leadership style with high integrity, accountability and execution discipline

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in business development, commercial leadership or growth roles
  • Deep understanding of the Kenyan insurance and financial services market is a strong advantage
