Head of Commercial- Flavors- Region: Africa

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the flavors commercial organization across Africa, overseeing a regional leadership team and in-market commercial structures
  • Define and execute the Africa commercial and growth strategy within ADM’s Flavors business
  • Drive profitable revenue growth and expand market share across the region
  • Identify and lead strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry models
  • Strengthen customer engagement across key segments in food ingredients
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, regionally distributed leadership team

Strategic Impact

  • Position Africa as a core growth engine within ADM’s Flavors division
  • Partner cross-functionally to further develop regional infrastructure, including supply chain and manufacturing capabilities

Profile

  • Senior commercial leader with experience in food ingredients / flavors / B2B food/ beverages sector
  • Proven track record in driving growth beyond core sales (e.g., partnerships, JVs, market development)
  • Strong leadership experience managing regional leaders
  • Ability to operate strategically while staying close to market and customer needs
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with exposure to executive-level interactions
  • Readiness for a frequent international travel
  • Fluent in English; French is an advantage
