Head of Content

Key Responsibilities:

The mission for this role is to lead the strategic development and execution of content initiatives that drive engagement, foster brand awareness, and ultimately, generate measurable results for our clients. Your role encompasses crafting compelling narratives, overseeing content creation across various digital channels, and ensuring alignment with brand objectives and audience needs. Through innovative storytelling and a deep understanding of digital trends, your aim is to establish our agency as a trusted source of valuable, relevant content while consistently delivering impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive business growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Content Strategy and Performance – Develop and execute content strategies that meet client engagement rate KPIs. Continuously analyze content performance metrics to optimize and improve engagement rates.
  • Content Planning and Execution – Ensure all content calendars are prepared and finalized by the 15th of each month or as per client requests. Oversee the production and timely delivery of content across all platforms.
  • Reporting and Analysis – Ensure all client social media reports are completed and submitted by the 5th of every month. Prepare comprehensive quarterly reports by the first week of each quarter, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
  • Influencer Partnerships – Identify and establish at least three strategic influencer partnerships annually. Collaborate with influencers to create content that aligns with client goals and enhances brand visibility.
  • Team Collaboration and Management – Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective teamwork across cross-functional teams.
  • Project management – Utilize Monday.com for project management, ensuring compliance and efficiency in content workflows.
  • Team Development – Lead the upskilling and professional development of the content creation team. Implement continuous learning and development programs to keep the team updated with the latest trends and best practices in content creation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media strategy and planning in a client-centered (preferably agency) environment. Professional experience developing social media strategy and online advertising campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
  • A good understanding of social media KPIs, trends and content.
  • You’ll need a high level of written and verbal communication skills, with accuracy as well as excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Strong passion for, and knowledge of, digital marketing, technology, social platforms, mobile marketing and emerging media, but also of the traditional advertising mix as well.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of social media care advisors, including providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure team success and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Capacity to speedily analyze complex situations, understand and anticipate customer needs. identify root causes of issues, and develop innovative solutions to address customer concerns.
  • Ability to grow, adapt and change accommodating business needs and priorities.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, against tight deadlines and fast-paced objectives, across multiple clients.
