Summary

A Multinational Security Company is seeking to on board a highly skilled Head of Finance based in Nairobi, Kenya. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all the financial aspects of the business and driving the company’s financial strategy and planning. The successful candidate will take charge of managing the company’s accounts team, orchestrating the production of monthly management accounts, and spearheading various financial initiatives across the organisation.

Responsibilities of the Head of Finance for a Multinational Security Company based in Nairobi, Kenya:

• Prepare a monthly Board Packs incorporating key KPIs
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial year ends
• Manage the migration from Sage 100 to SAP4Hana for preparation of year-end reports
• Liaise with external authorities, particularly on tax matters, and oversee insurance renewals and claims
• Supervise credit control and implement effective control systems in cash-handling processes

Requirements

Skills and qualification for the Head of Finance Role based in Nairobi, Kenya:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Qualified CA(SA)/ACCA or a qualified management accountant with a strong track of record in finance leadership roles
• Experience in financial management, reporting, strategic planning.
• Experience operating with SAP4Hana is essential
• Knowledgeable with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
