Job Description

Kenya Commercial Bank Limited is registered as a non-operating holding company which started operations as a licensed banking institution with effect from January 1, 2016. The holding company oversees KCB Kenya – incorporated with effect from January 1, 2016 – and all KCB’s regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement an organization wide physical assets and outsourced services management strategy.
  • Lead and coordinate all efforts related to the planning, identification, acquisition, construction and maintenance of physical assets and premises to serve the Bank’s business needs as well as coordinate inhouse and outsourced support services to meet business requirements in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Leverage on performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service Level Agreements with business users and third-party service providers.
  • Formulate frameworks to guide overall bank asset management across the Bank locations.
  • Develop and monitor annual physical assets and outsourced services. operational and capital budgets and spend plan in collaboration with Finance.
  • Leads and supervise construction and refurbishment projects.
  • Act as a liaison and maintain compliance with all procedures, policies, and regulations and ensure timely response to regulatory issues and inspection findings. This Includes enforcement of all applicable OSHA and relevant regulatory requirements. Provide periodic guidance and support to the KCB Bank Group.
  • Lead the Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and valid Practicing License
  • Professional Qualifications in Project Management
  • 8 years’ working experience.
  • 8 years’ Engineering Practice
  • 5 years’ Facilities Management
  • 5 years’ Project Management
  • 5 years’ Power Systems
