Job Description

Energy is one of the fundamental blocks of social economic development and access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all by 2030 is Goal 7 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. In East Africa today, most people are not on the grid but rely on kerosene for lighting and those on-grid often use kerosene due to low reliability of electricity. As more than 85% use biomass for cooking, East Africans suffer high cost of dirty fuels and toxic fumes that have negative impact on health, productivity, and the environment.

Requirements

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.

Experience

  • 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the clean energy sector in Kenya.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales team management, business development, and marketing management.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in last-mile distribution.
  • Expertise in utilizing big data analysis to extract valuable insights from customer environments, strategically optimizing sales opportunities, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
  • People Oriented leadership style.
  • CRM Expert.
