Job Description

Health Centre Manager

Job Purpose

The Health Centre Manager is responsible of provision of strategic and operational leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective preventive and curative healthcare services, while driving efficient and patient-centred Health Centre operations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Operational Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership to drive high-quality, patient-centred outpatient service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Oversee administrative and operational functions to ensure efficient, seamless, and sustainable healthcare services.

Quality, Risk & Compliance Management

  • Champion clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and proactive risk management to enhance quality of care and patient safety.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.

People & Resource Management

  • Lead, mentor, and build high-performing multidisciplinary teams to foster accountability, engagement, and service excellence.
  • Drive efficient utilization of financial, human, and operational resources to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Business Growth & Service Expansion

  • Support strategic business growth, service expansion, and continuous operational improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery/Nursing/Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical practice
  • Experience in healthcare operations or team leadership will be an added advantage.
