Job Description

CJ’s, a fully-fledged restaurant specializing in delivering a relaxed and memorable dining experience. We’re currently in 12 locations; 3 in Nairobi, 8 in Kampala and 1 in Entebbe. Health & Safety Officer

Qualification Overview

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering or related field – increasingly preferred)
  • Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH (International General Certificate minimum)
  • OSHA Certification
  • Other recognised safety certifications (CSP, National Safety Council)

Experience

  • 1-3+ years in inspections, risk assessment, audits & incident reporting.

Key Skills

  • Hazard identification & risk control Safety audits & compliance monitoring
  • Report writing & documentation Communication & staff training First aid & emergency response knowledge
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
