Home Sales Lead

Position Overview

  • The Home Sales Lead will be responsible for managing a team of home sales and tele sales to achieve customer acquisition and revenue targets. This role combines sales leadership, coaching, and performance management with strategic market development, including periodic field visits to regions where we currently lack direct sales activities. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, customer-focused, and able to drive team performance while exploring new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise, motivate, and support the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Develop scripts, pitches, and objection-handling guides to improve conversion.
  • Monitor team performance using KPIs (e.g., call volume, conversion rate, revenue per agent, NPS).
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and training to build team capability.
  • Ensure proper use of CRM systems and adherence to data privacy standards.

Sales Execution & Growth

  • Drive customer acquisition for core products (Fiber to the Home, Vuta Wifi, or other services).
  • Ensure follow-ups, upselling, cross-selling, and renewals are effectively managed.
  • Identify sales opportunities from inbound leads, referrals, and outbound campaigns.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Field Sales to ensure aligned customer messaging.

Market Development (Regions Without Direct Sales Activities)

Conduct periodic market visits to regions without direct sales teams to:

  • Assess market potential and demand trends.
  • Build relationships with potential customers, agents, and community stakeholders.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and pricing insights.
  • Identify potential reseller/partner opportunities to extend reach.
  • Prepare and submit market visit reports with clear insights, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Support management in piloting new sales initiatives or outreach programs in these regions.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report on sales performance vs. targets.
  • Analyze call outcomes, market feedback, and sales pipeline health.
  • Share weekly and monthly performance reports with the Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Experience in telecommunication or related industry is an added advantage
  • Strong people management and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office/Google Workspace.
