KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transter patients between the operating theatre, recovery room, wards and other hospital departments.
• Assist nurses and other medical staff in moving and positioning patients when required.
• Ensure patients are handled with dignity, care and respect Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient transport equipment, including stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Respond promptly to requests for patient transfers.
• Observe hospital safety and infection prevention protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least a KCSE certificate.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to assist with patient transfers.
• Compassionate, responsible and attentive to patient safety.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting is an added advantage.
