Vihiga County whose headquarters is in Mbale is Located in the Western Region of Kenya. It boarders Nandi to the East, Kisumu County to the South, Siaya County to the West and KAKAMEGA County to the North. It is one of the four Counties in the former Western Province. Vihiga County has five Constituencies; Luanda, Emuhaya, Hamisi, Sabatia and Vihiga.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained:
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors;
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms;
• Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notifying managers of necessary repair;
• Collecting and disposing of trash:
• Assisting guests when necessary
• Replying the linen mom stocked;
• Properly cleaning, upholstered furniture,
• Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu interns;
• Preparing high-quality meals and food interns according to required recipes;
• Storing excess food at the correct ternperature in order to avoid spoilage.

Requirements for Appointment

• Diploma in housekeeping/ food nutrition or beveraye;
• At least should have some experience doing housekeeping;
• Ability to manage your time efficiently;
• Work well unsupervised;
• Handle basic maintenance and cleaning;
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests;
• Hard worker.
