HSE Officer

Role Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to lead our health, safety, and environmental functions within specific project sites and ensure compliance with the highest industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies, procedures, and programs for specific project sites

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Certification in Fire Safety, First Aid, or ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HSE management role within the construction industry, preferably in a design and build setup.
  • Sound knowledge of Kenyan safety laws, NEMA environmental regulations, and site safety management practices.
  • Experience working on medium-sized projects in an international construction environment will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
