Human Resource Assistant

The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources department by providing administrative and operational assistance to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services. The ideal candidate should be an outgoing and proactive individual with a solid HR background and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Employee Records Management:

Maintain and update employee files and HR databases with accurate and timely information.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Employee Engagement and Communication:
  • Actively participate in employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns, resolving issues where possible.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Support payroll processes by gathering and verifying employee data.
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment and inquiries.

HR Compliance and Policies:

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.

Training and Development:

  • Support the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and other development programs.
  • Track employee participation in training initiatives.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle correspondence, prepare reports, and manage HR-related documentation.
  • Schedule and organize meetings and events as required.

Key Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role.
