Job Description

CDL was founded in early 2003 by its current Managing Director Lucy Mmari.Within her 14 year tenure in a well established logistics company, She honed her skill in human resources management and thereafter started CDL.

Human Resource Manager

HR Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support tmanagement on HR-related matters, ensuring best practices and compliance.

Talent Acquisition and Development

  • Lead the recruitment and selection process tattract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee onboarding and employee development programs tensure a productive and engaged workforce.
  • Employee Relations and Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Foster effective communication channels tpromote transparency and collaboration across the organization.

Performance Management

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems tdrive employee productivity and growth.
  • Identify training and development needs and facilitate learning programs.

HR Operations and Compliance

  • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, employee records, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure adherence tlocal labor laws, organizational policies, and international HR standards.
  • Organizational Development
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies taddress current and future needs.
  • Drive initiatives tenhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, creating an inclusive workplace.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10 -12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Solid HR operations experience in a multinational environment, preferably within logistics or FMCG.
