Human Resource Officer

About Us:

  • Nairobi Women’s Hospital is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to offering exceptional patient care, promoting health, and empowering communities. We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic and skilled Human Resource Officer to join our Mombasa branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR management systems.
  • Handle staff welfare, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
  • Oversee compliance with labor laws, organizational policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate employee performance appraisal systems and training programs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Support workforce planning and development initiatives.
  • Provide advice and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters.
  • Implement and monitor employee health and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Major, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience. Hospital or healthcare industry experience is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
  • Membership with IHRM or a relevant professional body is preferred.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of Kenyan labor laws.
