Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ICT Assistant to join our dynamic team and support our ICT infrastructure and services at both the hospital and the college.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and ICT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for staff and students.
• Assist in managing the hospital and college websites, email systems, and other digital platforms.
• Ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes are effectively implemented.
• Support ICT-related projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide training and assistance to staff and students on ICT tools and applications.
• Maintain accurate records of ICT inventory and activities.

Qualification Requirements and Key Competencies.

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in ICT support, preferably in a hospital or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with website management, email systems, and database administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
