The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), is established under the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act No. 8 of 1999 (EMCA) as the principlal instrument of Goverment for the implementation of all policies relating to environment

Job Responsibilities

• Analyzing, designing, coding, testing, implementing computer programs and providing user support;
• Maintaining support systems and training of users;
• Assisting in selection and disposal of redundant ICT equipment;
• Developing systems documentation and user manuals;
• Receiving, installing and certifying of Information Communication Technology equipment;
• Configuring of new Information Communication Technology equipment.
• Repairing and maintaining of Information Communication technology equipment and associated peripherals;

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or any other ICT related discipline with a bias in ICT from a recognised institution
• Certification in Networks (e.g CCNA, CCNP) or Microsoft Certification (e.g Microsoft Certified Professional) will be an added advantage
• A Certificate in the following field:- MCSE/MCITP (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer/ Microsoft Certified IT Professional) or CCNA/N+ (Cisco Certified Netwok Associate/Network+)
• Minimum 4 Years relevant experience in a busy organization
