d-school world of learning (dSchool) is the leading supplier and distributor of Educational software for kids for all ages, from toddlers, preschool, kindergarten to primary school and colleges in Africa.

Independent Sales Agent

Role Description

  • This full-time, on-site Independent Sales Agent role is based in Kenya.
  • The Independent Sales Agent will identify and engage potential customers, including schools, churches, community organizations, and families, to promote and sell dSchool’s educational software solutions. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, explaining features and benefits, answering questions, and providing basic product support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing a personal sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and providing regular sales reports and market feedback to the company.
  • The Independent Sales Agent will collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives and may participate in local events or outreach activities to increase brand awareness and drive adoption of dSchool programs.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with experience in field or direct sales, preferably in education or software products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain educational concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Customer relationship management skills, with a focus on building trust, providing ongoing support, and nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Basic digital literacy, including comfort with using computers, educational software, and common productivity tools.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet defined sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the local education landscape in Kenya and openness to working with community and faith-based organizations.
  • Secondary school education required; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and local languages as relevant to the region; willingness to travel within assigned territory.
