Job Description

Unity Homes is a Kenyan-based real estate development company. Our aim is to create happy, beautiful communities, by providing professionals and their families with affordable, investments grade and high quality homes. Our current project is,Unity West, a residential estate in Tatu City, Nairobi. The low rise estate of 384 houses, is currently under construction

Supervise the following construction activities;

  • Internal road,
  • Sewer line,
  • Storm water,
  • Reticulation,
  • Electrical,
  • Small service buildings,
  • Landscaping,
  • Any other tasks assigned by management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for your team’s safety and others affected by your work’s scope on a day to day basis!!!
  • Provide full time HANDS-ON site supervision,
  • Effectively allocate labor, equipment, materials and artisans to maximise productivity, safety and to minimise deficiencies.
  • Effectively understand project schedule to ensure deadlines are met on time.
  • Communicate scope of work requirements to artisans, review production, quality and ensure implementation.
  • Calculate, monitor and track all materials required for each project ensuring no overruns.
  • Correspond with the project manager team regarding all adjustments as required, ensuring any materials are ordered in advance in order to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct daily tool box talks for your team.
  • Resolve day to day field personnel issues.
  • Other Assignments as required.

Key Attributes

Should possess at least a diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction management and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
