Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

Duties and responsibilities

• Carrying out surveys and site investigations to gather field data and design information
•  Prepare projects estimates and project bid documents
• Carry out site supervision, contract administration and management of projects
•  Prepare and manage project reports and documents
•  Prepare annual work plans and budgets and other planning documents
•  Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by the SCWO

Requirements for Appointment 

• Must be a Kenyan citizen
• Must be a holder of a Diploma in Water Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have proficiency in computer applications
• Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution
