Job Description

Job Summary:

As an Instructional Design Intern, you will be an integral part of our training team, contributing to the development and enhancement of learning materials for various educational and training programs. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in instructional design principles, educational technologies, and content development to support the creation of engaging and effective learning experiences..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of instructional materials, including online courses, interactive modules, and multimedia presentations.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to analyze learning needs, define learning objectives, and design instructional strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of course outlines, storyboards, and scripts for multimedia content, ensuring alignment with learning goals and objectives.
  • Utilize instructional design software and authoring tools to create interactive learning experiences, simulations, and assessments.
  • Assist in the review and editing of course content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to instructional design standards.
  • Conduct research on educational trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform the development of innovative learning solutions.
  • Provide support for the implementation and evaluation of instructional materials, including user testing, feedback analysis, and revisions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, multimedia specialists, and project managers, to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in instructional design and educational technology.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and pedagogical best practices.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software and authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for education and a desire to innovate in the field of instructional design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience with e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), or educational technology tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with multimedia production, graphic design, or web development is desirable but not required.
  • Must be enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn and grow as an instructional design professional.
