Insurance Sales Agent- Bomet

Role Overview

  • We are a licensed Insurance Agency offering a wide range of insurance covers from multiple underwriters. We are seeking professional and results-driven Insurance Sales Agents to recruit, advise, onboard, and support customers, while contributing to ustainable agency growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Insurance, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales; prior experience in insurance will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated passion for sales and customer engagement.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and self-discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compensation
  • Commission: Performance-based commission linked to successful conversions, with competitive commissions, rewards, and sales incentives.

Qualifications & Key Skills:

  • Actively market and promote the Company’s insurance products and services to clients.
  • Prospect, engage, and onboard customers through both digital and physical channels.
  • Advise clients on suitable insurance covers based on their needs and risk profiles.
  • Follow up on leads, policy renewals, and premium payments.
  • Provide excellent customer service and effective after-sales support.
  • Uphold high standards of ethics, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.
  • Attend all mandatory Company meetings, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and strategy sessions, and participate in training programs, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of policies sold and premiums generated.
  • Customer acquisition and retention rates.
  • Renewal conversion rates.
  • Compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer satisfaction and service quality.
