Job Description

Kenyatta University, is a multi-campus public university in Kenya. As of October 2014, it was one of twenty three public universities in the country

Key Responsibilities / Duties / ‘Tasks

  • Conducting Audit assignments as guided, preparing quality Audit reports in a timely manner and highlighting issues related ro internal controls, Governance and Risk management )
  • Develop audit scope and andit program for assigned Audit project/ Task
  • Perform audit procedures to verify the implementation and effectiveness of controls in the University
  • Undertake any athet tasks as assigned from time to time,

Qualifications and Experience;

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
  • Atleast 3 years relevant work experience as an Assistant internal Auditor of Assistant Accountant
  • CPA (K) or its equivalent
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
