Job Description

P.C. Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute started in 1979 as a Technical Secondary School with a population of 160 students. The vision to establish the Technical School was borne by His Excellency, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the First President of the Republic of Kenya. The elders donated pieces of land that were consolidated in 1958 as trust land and reserved for future development of Kinyanjui Memorial High School in honour of the late Paramount Chief Kinyanjui wa Gathirimu who reigned between 1893 − 1929 in the region in which we are.

Minimum Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Commerce, Business management, (Finance /Accounting option), or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • CPA K and registered member of the Institute of Internal Auditors in good standing.
  • Must be a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP)
  • Knowledge of financial reporting guidelines in the public sector.
  •  At least three (3) years’ experience in an Audit Department preferably in the TVET institution
  • Certificate in computer proficiency for accounting packages from a recognized institution. Knowledge of relevant legislations
  • Shown merit, integrity and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
