International Leader, Investigations, Monitoring and Transparency (IMT)

Responsibilities

  • Carry out timely Compliance monitoring activities in the International region related to GE Healthcare’s Improper Payment Prevention (IPP), Dealer Compliance Program and other compliance policy / procedure / control areas identified through the Compliance Risk Assessment and/or trends and root cause analyses
  • Closely coordinate with stakeholders in Compliance, Legal, Controllership, HR, other functions and commercial/product teams regarding data and significant compliance trends
  • Oversee and conduct prompt and thorough Ombuds case investigations regarding alleged violations of GE Healthcare policy or relevant laws/regulations in the International region
  • Create well-documented investigation reports and corrective action plans, communicating relevant information, trends and root cause analyses to key stakeholders
  • Support non-Ombuds Legal and Compliance investigations, including under direction of the Global Chief Litigation Counsel and Global Labor and Employment Counsel
  • Lead a team of high-performing compliance professionals, including coaching and professional development
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with compliance and business partners

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 10-years professional experience in compliance, investigations, monitoring, law, internal audit, controllership and/or other relevant areas, preferably with a multi-national life sciences, medtech, pharma, or healthcare company
  • Unquestioned integrity and ethics in business and personal conduct
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and inspire trust
  • Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments despite pressure
  • Knowledge of and experience with compliance issues such as anti-corruption/Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, fraud and abuse, third party compliance, anti-money laundering, controllership, conflict of interest and supplier relationships
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to manage high-performing teams in a global, multicultural, matrixed environment
  • Professional fluency in English is required

Desired Characteristics

  • Law degree or post-graduate degree
  • Fluency in non-English languages
