KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for students and staff following the school’s menu and portion guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas at all times.
• Manage food stock and storage, minimise wastage, and report supply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
• Wash and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and work surfaces after every meal service.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Certificate in Food Production, Catering or a related field is an added advantage.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a busy kitchen, preferably within a school or institutional setting.
• Valid food handler’s/medical certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable, hygienic, and able to work well within a team.
