Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyzing data for the development and revue of the County land Value Index
• Undertaking Valuation for stamp duty, undertaking valuation of assets for the County Government of Migori
• Preparing main and supplementary valuation roles
• Analyzing market data for valuation purposes
• Developing Valuation database

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Degree in Land Economics, Real Estate or its equivalent from a recognized university
• Be a Kenyan Citizen
• Be a proficient in computer applications
• Is not otherwise disqualified under the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution or any other written law.
