1. Procurement Manager

The Job

 

As a Procurement Manager you will manage the company’s supply of products and services. Your responsibilities will include coming up with strategies to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Your key duty will be to derive the efficiencies in the cost structure, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Responsibilities

As a Procurement manager you will also:

  • Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
  • Examine and test existing contracts
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
  • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  • Issue invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposal, Requests for Quotation and contracts
  • Issue purchase orders, develops term contracts, and acquires supplies and services
  • Find and agree to terms, and acquiring goods, services, or works from an external source
  • Be in charge of inventory management, asset maintenance, asset disposal, vendor & contract management

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • BSc. Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration

2. Talent Growth Manager

The Job:
The Talent Growth Manager will work within Delivery department at CloudFactory. Delivery is the rapidly growing and the largest function in CloudFactory. With 150+ team members today, there is immense talented members who are serving our Clients and CloudWorkers everyday.

This role is about serving the 1. talented core team members in Delivery to help them grow and 2. the leadership team to help them scale the business.

 

Key Areas of responsibilities:

1. Performance Appraisal process

  • Design a merit based performance process that incorporates feedback, competency assessments, KPIs and a holistic feedback for all team members
  • Assess right tools to scale the process for a large team
  • Manage the administrative function of record keeping and tracking the process

2. Hiring and On-boarding new team members

  • Assist in building recruitment forecast and strategies to grow the team
  • Partner with Core Talent function to support the selection process
  • Partner with Learning and Development function to ensure successful onboarding new team members
  • Partner with recruitment agencies to help support senior leadership hires

3. Compensation management

  • Partner with Core Talent function to help track and facilitate the team members compensation cycle
  • Assist leadership in communicating and educating about compensation philosophy for CloudFactory

4. Networking for local market

  • Search for local events for Delivery leadership and team members to participate and grow
  • Attend and build a network in local HR market
  • Help create a brand awareness for Delivery to attract right talent
  • Partner with other organizations in the space to exchange knowledge and build relationships

5. Larger team meetings/ outing planning

  • Assist leadership in quarterly team business meetings and outings planning
  • Help in message communication and logistics

Requirements

The Competencies:

  4. 5+ years experience in core Human Resource function serving a team of 50+ employees.

3. Delivery Operations Assistant

The Job:

Our work is dynamic and complex. It connects CloudWorkers with client tasks from around the globe. To make the connection possible requires integrating resources and people from throughout the company and at all levels.

The Operations Assistant supports the Cloud Team members from behind the scenes and uses tools to make day-to-day operations easier and more efficient.

Your purpose is to keep everyone coordinated and to ensure that leaders have timely information to help them make decisions around the delivery hub.

Applicants should have demonstrated the ability to collaborate across many teams/functions, have experience in running multiple projects at once, and be great at multitasking priorities.

You will:

  • Manage an entire shift without direct supervision.
  • Set up equipment and spaces for the planned Workstreams, training or meetings.
  • Handle Operations’ related communication to Cloud and Core Team members via different platforms like FreshDesk, RocketChat, etc.
  • Monitor space management within the Delivery Space. This ranges from checking on the daily and weekly worker attendance, space and machine layout, regular reporting on the capacity and training space for new Workstreams.
  • Direct new Cloud Team members on space or where to seat as assigned by their Workstream.
  • Register and Distribute resources to the Cloud Team members.
  • Monitor the vendor/supplier services during off-hours and over the weekend by working closely with the General Operations team.
  • Communicate with the rest of the team (Pods, Engagement and Experience) on behavioural issues that arise during off-peak hours.
  • Own the technical set up and will be in charge of audio-visual setups that would include projectors, Zoom meetings, sound systems, etc.
  • Ensure there is an adequate set up for training space for new WorkStreams as well as distributed Workstreams that have training needs or that need emergency space.
  • Attend to customer service tickets from both Cloud Team and Core Team, troubleshoot and assist with any issues they may be facing.
  • Make recommendations on current shift utilization.
  • Manage change within the delivery space especially when it directly affects the Cloud Team members.
  • Work as the liaison between the Product Team and Workers regarding changes on the Platform.
  • Be in charge of technical problem solving when needed and troubleshoot minor issues and wireless networks within the Delivery Space by working closely with IT when escalation to them is required.
  • Handle the logistics of the day-to-day running of our Delivery Center, ensuring that it’s a fun and pleasant working environment for everyone.

This role reports to the Associate Manager of Operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years Experience in operational project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
  • Strong Technology understanding, Google Suite is a plus.
  • Exhibits initiative in problem-solving and troubleshooting, with attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects that have time constraints and varying deadlines.
  • Demonstrated project management skills in both leading efforts and being a team member.
  • Ability to leverage system/tools to manage data.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently.

4. General Operations Assistant

The Job

We need someone who has the diligence, persistence, and organizational skills to help us manage our facilities, while continuously working to improve their efficiency.

This role will support the different functions within CloudFactory and will give people a great environment to work in. You will check that the wires are properly connected, the taps are running, seats are in place and that everyone has an awesome space to work.

You will:

  • Be responsible for: office repairs, office upgrades and the general office outlook and experience.
  • Track utility spend and manage all the utility related duties.
  • Be part of the team that’s responsible for decorating our spaces.
  • Be part of the team responsible for Government Compliance.
  • Manage our awesome Support teams and their resources.
  • Handle logistics like a pro.
  • Be part of the team that’s responsible for security within our facilities.
  • Maintain and update all vendor purchases and contact details. Partner with the relevant stakeholders to do vendor selection and reviews.
  • Be responsible for the CF swag store.
  • Run the general office functions.
  • Co-own the Occupational, Safety and Wellbeing docket.

This role reports to the Associate Manager of Operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in operational project management.
  • Ability to jump into complex situations quickly, relate to many levels of authority smoothly, and bridge gaps in culture and perception.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a desire to learn and evolve with a growth-oriented business model.
  • Strong data/economic/financial modeling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Strong Technology understanding. Google Suite is a plus.
  • Exhibits initiative in problem-solving and trouble-shooting with attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects with time constraints and varying deadlines.
  • Demonstrated project management skills in both leading efforts and being a team member.
