Lecturer – Nursing – 2 Posts

Minimum Requirements.
For appointment to this position/grade a candidate must have: –

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing from a recognized and accredited university;
  • Master’s degree in Nursing from a recognized and accredited university;
  • At least three (3) years of university teaching and research experience at the level of Tutorial Fellow/Assistant Lecturer or equivalent;
  • Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers;
  • A valid Practicing License issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications;
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, innovation, mentorship and community engagement.

Method of Application

Applications should be accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of relevant academic and professional certificates, National Identity Card or Passport, testimonials, e-mail addresses and telephone contacts and any other relevant supporting documents. Applicants with foreign earned qualifications should have their certificates certified by the Commission for University Education (CUE). Successful Candidates shall be required to submit valid clearances from the followingbodies:
  • Kenya Revenue Authority
  • Higher Education Loans Board
  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
  • Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of Good Conduct)
  • Registered Credit Reference Bureau
