Job specification

• A Kenyan citizen
• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB)
• Post graduaate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Registration with Law Society of Kenya
• Current practising certificate
• Proficiency in computer application

Responsibilities

• Drafting of private Members’ Bills
• Giving legal interpretation of Acts and Bills and generally giving legal advice onmatters relating to the County Assembly.
• Drafting ammendment of Bills to be proposed to the Assembly by any member or any committe of the Assembly.
• Ensuring that Bills passed by the County Assembly comply with the Constitution
• Liasing with the office of the County Attorney on litigation matters involving the County Assembly.
• Legalrepresentation of the County Assembly Service Board in court proceedings
• Supervising interns.
