Job Description

Laboratory & Allied is a major player in the regional pharmaceutical market supplying quality generic medicines to the private market, governmental institutions, local and international NGOs and regional export markets for the last 50 years. The company has one of the largest and most modern WHO-GMP compliant manufacturing plants in the region with a quality assurance infrastructure and adequate capacity for common dosage forms to meet all current and anticipated needs of its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models using advanced Excel functions. Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational planning and analysis.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to each department.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Support the implementation of systems and process improvements.
  • Contributing to the development of long-term business strategies, ensuring financial objectives are aligned with the company’s goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, PivotTables, and data visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly beneficial or Manufacturing industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
