Job Description

The Competition Authority of Kenya (the Authority) is a Statutory Agency established under the Competition Act No.12 of 2010. The Authority’s mandate is to promote and safeguard competition and also protect consumers from unfair and misleading market conduct.

Manager Buyer Power

Requirements

  • Masters”Degree in any of the following Disciplines: Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent Qualification from a recognized institution
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Law, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
  • A minimum period of ten (10) years relevant work experience, three (3) should be in managerial/ supervisory role
  • Investigations Course on evidence collection, analysis and reporting of not less than two (2) weeks
  • Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
  • Professional qualification and membership to a professional body where applicable
