Job Description

Veteran Mission Hospitals Limited was born from the identification of the presence of a huge gap in the medical industry which is between what the people need and what is available in the industry.

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase hospital visibility and patient intake.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the healthcare sector.
  • Foster relationships with community organizations, businesses, and healthcare providers to build partnerships and referral networks.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials and ensure brand consistency.
  • Organize and participate in events, health fairs, and community outreach programs.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to expand the hospital’s services and patient base.
  • Analyze marketing and business development performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the hospital management team to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Train and supervise the marketing team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to improve the hospital’s market position.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing and business development activities and outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A  master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a hospital setting is a must.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
