Job Description

Maintenance & Support We ensure that your equipment is in good working condition to enable you to run your operations with minimum disruptions. Prompt support whenever you need it to ensure that you are always running at desired levels. Bespoke LPG Solutions Do you require a custom, built to order LPG solution? We will work with you to come up with the solution that best fits your requirements as we understand a ‘one size fits all’ solution is not always the best solution. Safety Audits We offer you specialised safety audits both above and below ground (LPG pipe-works and Tanks), giving you peace of mind and allowing you to run your business with the confidence of knowing you have complied with safety and environmental standards. Installations & Conversions We will perform installations of LPG equipment on your premises (tanks, pipes, etc) and also aid with converting your current operations to a bespoke LPG solution that will get you running effeciently in the least time possible.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out and managing the breakdown, planned, periodical and preventive maintenance of plant, machineries, utilities and equipment in cooperating with other departments.
  • Assuring timely support and effective maintenance in order to keep the production active and ongoing.
  • Developing maintenance procedures and ensure implementation, analyzing the root-causes of failures and cooperate with the involved functions in solving the recurring problems.
  • Ensuring the compliance to the rules and certifications of Kenyan Laws about quality, safety and environment on the workplace and the application of the current management/organizational systems.
  • Keeping maintenance logs and report on daily activities and SLA performance with Service/maintenance providers where applicable.
  • Optimizing machinery, equipment and utilities according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality.
  • Managing spare parts inventory to determine and manage stocking levels.
  • Develop Machinery quality measurement metrics and their reporting.
  • Oversee the operations of maintenance section and the management of the team.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for Plant Maintenance including monitoring maintenance plans and performance.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the department budget.
  • Develops, trains, mentors, supervises and motivates team members and succession planning.
  • Perform any other duty(ies) as will be assigned from time to time by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronic or electric engineering or equivalent qualification.
