Role:

Responsible for all aspects of the project relating to building services. The role includes the management of the MEP site team to ensure that the day-to-day duties are performed professionally and expeditiously to support the ongoing progress of the project.

Duties but not limited to the following:

• Manage, and oversee the work of subordinate staff and contact the MEP coordinator.
• Provide technical advice to the project manager or contractor regarding the installation and maintenance of the MEP System.
• Analyse Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
• Identify problems in design, plan, manage, and deliver multiple projects.
• Plan, organize, review, and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and others.
• Advise the Mechanical Engineer of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snag.
• Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of the site works about MEP services and report to the Project Manager on the same.
• Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP site team.

Experience and Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years experience working on a construction site
• Bachelor’s degree/ Higher Diploma in Engineering is an added advantage
• Use of engineering software i.e., AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, MS project, etc.
