Job Description

AIC Kijabe as is known today was established in 1915 as a small outpatient clinic within the grounds of the Rift Valley Academy and was originally named Theodora Hospital. The hospital celebrated its centenary in May 2015 and is a multi-specialty facility currently with a bed capacity of 363, serving patients from all over Kenya and other African countries. KH is a faith-based hospital sponsored by the Africa Inland Church, Kenya, and has recently been classified as a level 6BNational Tertiary Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Mobile Education Program Officer

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field ( Program management, medical education, or a relevant clinical field ( Nursing, Clinical Medicine)
  • Masters Degree in Public Health, Health Systems, Medical Education or a related field preferred
  • Minimum five(5) years in programme management, clinical education or global health
  • Experience working in LMIC Health Systems
  • Registration with relevant professional body if clinically trained (e.g, KMPDC, COC, NCK)
  • Valid practicing license
  • Experience in simulation-based education and training systems
