M-Gas is using technology to transform lives by providing clean cooking gas to all Kenyans 24 hrs, 7 days a week. We give you our cylinder filled with gas, a smart meter, a gas cooker and a key card as part of our package so you don’t have to pay the high upfront fee of buying a gas cylinder and cooker.

Motorized Technical Representative

Job Summary

  • The Motorized Technical Representative (MTR) executes customer maintenance and replenishment tasks using a company-assigned motorbike. The MTR is responsible for both mobility and task execution, ensuring high productivity, SLA adherence, fleet discipline, and professional customer interaction.

Job Details

Task Execution & Productivity

  • Execute tasks strictly according to engine priority.
  • Protect Day 0–3 customers from running out.
  • Maintain high daily productivity.
  • Close assigned tickets within tight SLAs.
  • Minimize reschedules and unreachable outcomes. 2. Route Efficiency
  • Plan efficient daily routes using customer location details.
  • Minimize unnecessary travel and idle time.
  • Optimize task sequencing within assigned sector.

Customer Service & Professional Conduct

  • Provide courteous, respectful service.
  • Wear full branded company attire.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times.

Data Accuracy & Account Integrity

  • Update inaccurate location or customer details.
  • Ensure correct account-to-asset linkage.
  • Follow repossession processes strictly.

Fleet & Riding Discipline

  • Hold valid riding license at all times.
  • Ride responsibly and safely.
  • Avoid at-fault accidents.
  • Conduct daily pre-ride safety checks.
  • Ensure timely servicing of assigned bike.
  • Avoid unnecessary fuel consumption.

Inventory Accountability

  • Account for all assets issued.
  • Prevent loss or damage.
  • Return unused items properly.

Escalation & Field Reporting

  • Report safety risks, tampering, or anomalies.
  • Escalate systemic or recurring issues promptly.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Experience working in Sales and Customer Acquisition and Customer Support

Education:

  • Form 4 Certificate, Sales qualification, College education and at least 2 years working in sales and customer service role.
  • Valid Driving License with appropriate NTSA Stamps
  • 6 to 12 months of continuous riding
