Our client in the beauty industry is seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Nail Technician/Head Spa Intern to join our team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in nail care and head spa treatments, offering a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a high-quality spa environment. The intern will assist with various spa services, customer service, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Nail Care Services:

• Assist in providing manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments.
• Learn and practice techniques for nail shaping, cuticle care, and application of nail polish, gel, and acrylics.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all nail tools and workstations.

Head Spa Treatments:

• Assist in performing head spa treatments, including scalp massages, hair treatments, and other related services.
• Learn the use of various head spa tools and products.
• Ensure a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for clients.

Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the spa’s booking system.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide information about spa services.

Sanitation and Cleanliness:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the spa area.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are sanitized and stored properly.
• Follow spa protocols for health and safety.

Learning and Development:

• Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in nail care and head spa treatments.
• Seek feedback from senior staff and incorporate it into practice.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate from a cosmetology or esthetics program.
• Prior nailtech experience is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of nail care and interest in head spa treatments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
