Major Purpose of the Role:

As a Territory Manager, you’ll be instrumental in achieving marketing goals by nurturing channel partnerships, promoting the company’s suite of products and services, and effectively managing company assets. You might also share responsibility for overseeing overall channel partner performance within your territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the attainment of sales and market share objectives, whether through direct sales or via channel partners.
  • Provide guidance to channel partners on product knowledge, marketing strategies, financial insights, and management best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate channel partner performance, taking proactive measures to address any deviations from expected outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison, managing contractual relationships, and swiftly resolving issues between channel partners and the company.
  • Optimize company assets to maximize returns while communicating market opportunities and competitive insights to our divisions.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster strong relationships between channel partners and the company, aligning efforts toward overarching enterprise goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for channel partners to ensure their success.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of dealers and various distribution channels within the agricultural industry / heavy machinery
  • Willingness to travel as needed to effectively manage the assigned territory.
  • Familiarity with dealers/merchants, financial programs, and agricultural machinery / heavy machinery business practices.
  • Degree in: Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Agricultural Science, Marketing, or equivalent disciplines.
