Job Description

The hospital was started in 1909 by the Church of Scotland. It is owned and governed by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa. It is located in the Central Highlands of Kenya between the Aberdares Range and Mount Kenya 130 Km (80 Miles) North of Nairobi at altitude of 5,900ft. It is a 203 bed hospital and provides holistic health care.

Requirements;

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from a recognized institution. Master of Medicine in Orthopedic Surgery from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council KMPDC. Specialist certificate from KMPDC.
  • Valid Practice License.
  • Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • At least two (2) year of working experience as an Orthopedic Surgeon in a busy hospital
  • A recommendation letter from your religious leader who should be one of the referees
