The Coca-Cola Company, which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American multinational beverage corporation, and manufacturer, retailer, and marketer of nonalcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups.

Packaging Team Leader

Key Purpose Statement

To Coordinate and lead the members of the shift team in performing the activities necessary in the execution of the shift production schedule, packaging in an optimal and timely manner and making adjustments as needs arise.

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Coach and assist the members of the shift team in the correct execution of their work activities
  • Drive performance management practices
  • Manage immediate material availability
  • Manage human resource availability
  • Train, ensure discipline and perform shift administrative tasks
  • Lead the development of the team goals, performance targets and shift budgets
  • Carry out performance reviews and one on ones
  • Lead the daily shift meetings and ensure that shift hand over interactions are taking place
  • Identify the need for updating of work instructions
  • Ensure taht the process area complies to GMP and 5S standards

Skills, Experience & Education
Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of production processes and aspects of packaging
  • Work with minimal supervision

Education

  • Degree in Food Science/mechanical/electrical engineering
