Parts Manager

Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall management of spare parts operations for Chinese prime movers, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely availability of parts, and efficient support to maintenance and repair teams to minimize vehicle downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement, inventory, and distribution of spare parts for Chinese prime movers.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and implement effective inventory control systems.
  • Forecast parts requirements based on fleet usage and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of parts.
  • Monitor parts usage, costs, and report on inventory performance.
  • Coordinate with workshop/maintenance teams to ensure timely parts availability.
  • Implement cost-control and loss-prevention measures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Proven experience in spare parts or inventory management for heavy commercial vehicles.
  • Good knowledge of Chinese prime movers;
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.
  • Good communication and supplier management skills.
