Mandera County continued to register positive progress anchored on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) despite challenges and the devastating effects of climate change, which saw prolonged dry spells followed by heavy rains and flooding.Floods displaced families, washed away crops and farming infrastructure and cut off roads. Duties and Responsibilities

• To manage neurological, orthopedic and trauma conditions.
• Identify, assess, and manage / rehabilitate different types of impairments.
• To use different types of modalities in management of different conditions.
• Independently run a department and take care of treatment modalities. compile reports according to stipulated report guidelines.
• To work in collaboration with other stakeholders in all departments.
• Safeguarding and ensuring maintenance of equipment and appliances.
• Performing administrative duties.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment

• Should be a holder of Diploma in physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Holder of Kenya certificate of secondary Education, or its equivalent
• Should be registered with the Kenya society of physiotherapists.
• Other requirements as per Scheme of Service for Physiotherapist
