JOB POSITION: PLANT LAYOUT DESIGNER
Plant Layout Design

• Develop and maintain the overall plant master layout of cement plant or heavy industries.
• Adapt standard equipment designs to fit the project’s specific topography.
• Incorporate access and maintenance routing into the layout.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, tolerances and regulations.
• Integrating civil foundation footprints and structural contours into the mechanical layout.

Specialized Equipment and Machinery Modelling

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings.
• Draft structural and mechanical interfaces
• Design material handling system.

Vendor Engineering Management

• Vendor drawing reconciliation and manage drawing version controls.
• Review, verify vendor drawings to ensure they match project technical specifications.
• Map out mechanical, structural and electrical interface points between vendor supplied machinery and engineering drawings.
• Generate bill of materials as per drawing specifications.

Requirements

• Diploma in mechanical drafting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of plant layout, GA drawing review.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD.
• Experience 7-12 years
