Key Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operations of the biomass facility, ensuring optimal performance and output.
• Coordinate and manage maintenance teams to ensure regular upkeep and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor and optimize biomass stock logistics and handling process.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and address operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Track and analyze operational data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain a working relationship with KPLC and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ideally have at least five years of experience of working with boilers and/or in an electricity generation plant – experience with Turbines will be an added advantage.
• Technical knowledge of boiler systems and/or power generation.
• Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.
• Management experience with excellent leadership and communication skills.
