Job Description

Cytonn Investments is an investments and real estate company, with offices in Nairobi – Kenya and DC Metro area – U.S. We are primarily focused on offering alternative investment solutions to global institutional investors, individual high net-worth investors, local institutional investors and diaspora investors interested in the East-African region.

Product Assistant Internship

Responsibilities

  • Assist in documenting product requirements, workflows, and feature requests.
  • Conduct research on competitor offerings, pricing models, and customer preferences (especially diaspora-focused services).
  • Participate in product testing and feature validation to ensure usability and client satisfaction.
  • Create and schedule social media content highlighting Vunoh’s product benefits and customer success stories.
  • Assist in planning and executing product marketing campaigns targeting diaspora communities (Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, and community pages).
  • Support the development and execution of December holiday campaigns, promoting Vunoh’s Errand, Investment, and Real Estate services for seasonal needs (e.g., gifting, home support, family errands).
  • Conduct outreach to diaspora associations, church groups, and influencer partners for campaign collaboration.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and retention.
  • Document client feedback and prepare summary reports for the Product and Client Service teams.
  • Manage social media engagement (comments, DMs, inquiries) and escalate potential leads to the Product or Client Service team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Technology.
  • Strong interest in product management, diaspora marketing, or fintech innovation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and digital marketing skills.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer, or HubSpot).
  • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset with a passion for storytelling.
  • A minimum Score of B in your KSCE exams.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Bonus: Understanding of diaspora communities and cross-border customer behaviour
