Salary RangeKSh 30,000 – KSh 50,000/month

Our Client is the Premier Inbound Destination Management Company in Africa, with offices located in Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Our dedicated team of travel experts specializes in offering clients personalized services and exceptional products, including private guided tours, self-drive adventures, FIT arrangements, and group travel experiences.

We are seeking for a Product Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for putting together and updating the tours products for agents and actively making sure that they are all accurate, up to date shared with agents and filed accordingly for reservations team.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Putting together the different programs for different agents using the company standard format.
  • Effectively populate the rates using the different costing sheets for different agents making sure the rates are accurate, as per the agreed contract rates and the right set margins for the different agents are applied accordingly.
  • Work on rate comparison table on each costing sheet
  • Work within the given timelines for each product and deliver in good time
  • Contribute ideas to the team on areas of improvement
  • Correspond with agents and create a good relationship with all by making sure they have all the necessary information they need and accurately so
  • Familiarize themselves with product offerings to specific agents and in what format/margins and making sure the right information is given to the agents.
  • Must be able to always pay attention to details when working on each product as they are all different
  • Must be a team player

Skills and Competencies required

  • Degree / Diploma in Tour Operations and relevant training
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the industry
  • Good product knowledge of the tourism industry and geographical regions in East Africa
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to work within a flexible schedule
  • ICT proficient.
  • Tourplan knowledge is an added advantage
